NORTHEPTION have solidified their position in the VALORANT scene with the signing of a female team known as Riley Rabbits.
JAPAN – The decision to field a Game Changers team comes after the announcement in March that Japan would have its own exclusive Game Changers circuit. It led some of Japan’s most prominent esports organizations to hop on board the hype train, and one of them was NORTHEPTION.
NORTHEPTION had been seeking Game Changers players or teams since late June, and less than a month later, a female roster known as Riley Rabbits eventually put pen to paper on a contract with the Japanese organization. The new female lineup of NORTHEPTION consists of five players: krenn, phetamine, p1nkuma, Dia, and Juri, as well as coach DavinCi, who formerly played Apex Legends for Japan-based ORTHROS MAGICAL.

The players in Riley Rabbits have already been playing together since early this year when they represented K2 eSports for three months, from March to June. Under K2 eSports, krenn and co. competed in several domestic community tournaments, including the VALORANT QUEST-CUP Prologue, where they finished third.
With the lineup was formed long before the Game Changers Japan announcement and that they have a history of playing under an organization, in a way, we can expect them to be a strong contender coming into the upcoming Game Changers Japan circuit.
NORTHEPTION Female will make their debut on Saturday, July 30, in the VCT Game Changers Japan Open Qualifier – Group D, where they are part of the same group as Insomnia Female, Amie Adapt, and felis. Their opening match of the single-elimination group will be against the latter.
NORTHEPTION Female’s roster looks as follows:
- 🇯🇵 “krenn“
- 🇯🇵 “p1nkuma“
- 🇯🇵 “Dia“
- 🇯🇵 “Juri“
- 🇰🇷 “phetamine“
