Team SMG have officialized the signing of Odella “enerii” Abraham, who will be taking the place of fellow Indonesian Ryona “Tarathiel” Tan in the team’s lineup.
SINGAPORE – Odella “enerii” Abraham has penned a contract and formally signed with Team SMG, the Singaporean organization has announced. The former Alter Ego Celestè star was brought in to fill the spot left by fellow Indonesian and former teammate Ryona “Tarathiel” Tan, who has been moved to the inactive roster after eight months.
Speaking to FSL, enerii expressed her excitement about joining Team SMG, “For the past few months, I haven’t been doing much VALORANT-wise, but I’ve been grinding rank, and ever since I joined Team SMG, I’ve been grinding a lot of ranked to improve my mechanics for myself and the team.”
“At first, I was quite nervous since SMG is a team that I’ve been eyeing since last year and since it’s kind of my dream team, but the players and the management welcomed me well, so I’m not as nervous. I think I’m really happy to be playing with my dream lineup.”

enerii links up with Team SMG after previously representing Alter Ego Celestè for more than two years. The duelist player was a cut above the rest of her time with the Indonesian roster, averaging a team-leading 304.6 ACS, according to THESPIKE, over 3231 rounds.
Her remarkable skills were recognized at The VALO2ASIA Awards 2022, where she received the Top APAC Game Changers Player award.
After becoming a free agent in February, enerii did not participate in the first Open, spending the first half of the year on the sidelines. However, she temporarily played for BIGG SCYTHE at the Big Battle in Paradise tournament, contributing with an average of 318 ACS and helping the team secure a victory in the local LAN event.
She therefore takes the baton from a former Celeste teammate, as she and Tarathiel competed together throughout the first two seasons of FSL/Game Changers. Tarathiel played a role in Team SMG’s rise as a top contender this season, achieving a respectable 5-6th place finish in the 2022 VCT Game Changers APAC Elite and securing a first-place finish in the 2023 VCT Game Changers APAC Open 1.
The Abigail “Kohaibi” Kong-led side will be hoping that their new recruit can be the spark in helping the side reach new heights, aiming to qualify for the Global Championship later in the year.
Her first test with SMG is scheduled for today in the VCT Game Changers Open 2, where they will face off against Zer0 Guerrière. The team has been spotted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, conducting a bootcamp in preparation for the tournament.
