The qualification path for the main event of VALORANT Challengers Thailand Split 1 has been announced.
THAILAND – FPSThailand has joined up with AfreecaTV to announce the qualifier for VALORANT Challengers Thailand Split 1. The ongoing registration process, which is currently in the process of integrating with the in-game Premier system for qualification, will remain open until January 17, just ahead of the qualifier starting two days later.
Scheduled from January 19–21, the qualifier will initially follow a best-of-one, double-elimination bracket format before transitioning to a best-of-three format in the later stages. It will take place on the latest game patch, with the top two teams earning advancement to the promotion stage.
Information regarding the main event format remains limited as of the current publication. There has been no announcement regarding the teams invited to either the main event or the promotion stage.

To complete the registration process, teams are required to be registered in Premier and have reached the Contender Division as of Episode 7 Act 3, with a minimum of three players on the team’s starting roster being residents of Thailand. Individually, players must be aged 16 years or older and hold a rank of Immortal 3 or higher.
XERXIA emerged as Thailand’s representatives last year at VCT Ascension Pacific, held on their home turf of Bangkok. Despite securing a victory in their group stage match against NAOS Esports, the Thai team concluded their journey in 7-8th place, facing defeats against other eventual playoff contenders, BOOM Esports and Fancy United Esports.
Additional information about the registration process can be found on the designated Google Form.
