The Korean and French teams will meet in a best-of-one showmatch in Paris next week.
FRANCE – As the 2023 season winds down, Karmine Corp is organizing a showmatch on their home ground, bringing their squad head-to-head with South Korea’s T1.
This event marks the first appearance of the new lineup for T1, featuring Lee “k1Ng” Seung-won and Ham “iZu” Woo-joo.
In addition to the previously mentioned teams, Karmine Corp has scheduled another showmatch that pits their Game Changers team against Taynah “tayhuhu” Yukimi’s LOUD GC, the second-leading team in the Brazilian Game Changers Circuit. The event will also host other showmatches in Rocket League, League of Legends, and Super Smash Bros.

The event is set for September 16 at the Paris La Défense Arena, which is recognized as Europe’s largest indoor venue. While its maximum capacity reaches 40,000 in certain layouts, KCorp is aiming for an arrangement to accommodate 25,000 to 28,000 spectators.
The passionate fan base of Karmine Corp was the driving force behind the first two KCX events. The most recent one saw an attendance of approximately 12,000 enthusiasts on a weekday, with tickets being snapped up in under a day. Karmine Corp’s VALORANT team competed against Team Vitality during VRL 2022 France: Revolution Stage 2. Meanwhile, their League of Legends squad faced Misfits Premier in LFL Summer 2022.
Tickets are offered in five different pricing tiers, ranging from 35€ to 95€. If the event sells out, it has the potential to become one of the most significant esports events in history, outshining other major tournaments from leading games.
The action will also be streamed live on the Twitch channel of Kamel “Kamet0” Kebir, a renowned French streamer and the owner of Karmine Corp.
