EPULZE has announced the details regarding the EPULZE Royal SEA Challenge qualifiers, with US$10,000 on offer for the main event.
The qualifying process for the EPULZE Royal SEA Challenge is split into six qualifiers: Malaysia/Singapore, Thailand/Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, and FFA. The victor of these qualifiers will advance to the main event, where they will battle it out for a US$10,000 prize pool.
The regional qualifiers will be held on Saturday, November 6, while the Free For All (FFA) qualifier will start the next day. The qualifiers will reward the winning side with direct entry into the main event.
The latter qualifier gives teams from the regions as mentioned earlier, as well as the countries listed below, the opportunity to also compete in the EPULZE Royal SEA Challenge’s main event:
Hong Kong | Taiwan |
Myanmar | Cambodia |
Brunei | East Timor |
Papua New Guinea | Laos |
Nepal | Bangladesh |
Bhutan |
EPULZE Royal SEA Challenge will feature twelve teams, with seven of them being invited and the remaining five coming from the open qualifiers. They will be divided into two groups of a round-robin best-of-two (BO2) group stage. The top four from each group will advance to the single-elimination best-of-three (BO3) playoffs. The tournament will then culminate with a best-of-five grand final, where they will square off for the US$5,000 first-place prize.
