Oasis Gaming continues to grow as one of the Philippines’ leading esports organizations has now added a new co-owner in Metasports.
PHILIPPINES – Oasis Gaming has announced the addition of Metasports to its team of co-owners. Metasports is a media house and agency for gaming and esports and is the parent organization behind several growing IPs, including SEAesport News, Creator Kookoo TV, Overdrive Studios, and the Lunacian Sports League, among others.
The addition of Metasports as a co-owner aligns with Oasis Gaming’s mission to become the premier destination for gaming and esports communities in the Philippines and beyond. The organization has been making waves in Riot Games’ VALORANT, securing national representation at the SEA Games Cambodia for VALORANT and competing in the VALORANT Challengers League Philippines Split 1.
In a bid to diversify its portfolio beyond the competitive side, Oasis Gaming has recently onboarded Aryanna Epperson, Nevz, and Shirkeybars to its roster of creators. These new additions, alongside the already notable names such as Krisrey and Ling2x, demonstrate the organization’s commitment to growing its content creation business line.
Co-founders of Oasis Gaming, Arra Baron and Clara Crisostomo, expressed their excitement for the partnership with Metasports, stating that “Innovation is our top priority this year, and we look forward to exploring new growth strategies while strengthening the culture we’ve been nurturing since our inception. Joe and Lars have been outstanding partners, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for Oasis in 2023 and beyond.”
Joe Josue, the CEO of Metasports, echoed their enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that Metasports is continually seeking exceptional gaming IPs. He further noted that Oasis Gaming has caught their attention and has been an exciting organization to watch from the outside and that Metasports is thrilled to have the opportunity to support its next step. Josue added, “they have found partners, a community, and a brand that they believe will be impactful to gamers for years to come.”
