The Korean organization has signed five promising young talents to its new academy roster, led by coach Rohit “CurryShot” Nathani.
SOUTH KOREA – T1 have revealed the official signing of five new players to their academy team, built around their former player Kim “BeomJun” Beom-jun. The official announcement marks T1A’s first Korean roster after previously fielding North American rosters before the partnership era, which notably included the 2023 world champion Alexander “jawgemo” Mor.
BeomJun is making his way back to the T1 organization, during which he did not have the opportunity to compete in any series after being signed for the 2023 season. Following his departure from T1 in March of last year, BeomJun briefly played with On Sla2ers and the non-backed CELESTIAL team on the domestic scene before making a short stint with China’s 17 Gaming towards the end of the year, participating in the Evolution Series circuit.

Another notable addition alongside BeomJun is Yoon “MN3” Jae-hee, who will officially transition from Overwatch to VALORANT after representing Seoul Infernal (previously Philadelphia Fusion) for the past two years in the 2021–2023 season. This move also brings MN3 back under the same banner as his former teammate Lee “Carpe” Jae-hyeok, who currently competes with the main team in the VCT Pacific League.
Making a comeback from the Challengers Japan circuit are Park “Only1” Dan-il and “SacrificE,” who previously represented SCARZ and REIGNITE, respectively, during the 2023 season. The least familiar face in the lineup is 18-year-old “Requ1em” who is still an unknown quantity without a single official match recorded in VLR.
Taking the helm behind the team will be Rohit “CurryShot” Nathani. The American coach also has roots in Overwatch and boasts experience working with the Guangzhou Charge and the Los Angeles Gladiators for multiple seasons. His transition to VALORANT began in 2022, initially coaching Game Changers teams before joining NA Challengers team Turtle Troops the following year alongside T1’s Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo and TALON’s Peter “Governor” No.
