With his recent appointment as the new head coach of Talon Esports, Hector “FrosT” Rosario will be reuniting with Aaron “b0i” Thao, whom he had previously coached back in 2021.
THAILAND – Hector “FrosT” Rosario has been revealed as the new head coach of Talon Esports via the VALORANT Global Contract Database. The American takes over the role from the former head coach, Yuttanagorn “Zeus” Kaewkongyai.
The appointment of FrosT comes after an underwhelming 2023 for the Thai side, who despite a promising start at the kickoff event in São Paulo struggled to make much of an impression in the regional VCT Pacific League. Talon Esports ultimately finished 9th place, only managing a win against DetonatioN FocusMe and failing to secure any victories in the Last Chance Qualifier.
His addition to the coaching staff becomes what could be the final step in the Talon Esports’ revamp, which previously saw the organization move away from an all-Thai VALORANT roster and sign Joseph “ban” Seungmin Oh, Lionel “lenne” Lim, and Peter “Governor” No. FrosT had his debut with TLN during their OFF//SEASON run at the ESL Clash of Nations 2023, where the team reached the grand final but ultimately fell to Team NKT.

FrosT brings with him a wealth of experience from his time coaching 100 Thieves during VALORANT’s inaugural year, winning First Strike North America and securing a spot at Masters Berlin. The 25-year-old also finds himself in a familiar setting at Talon Esports, as he will be teaming up again with Aaron “b0i” Thao, a former teammate coached under 100T during the 2021 VCT NA Last Chance Qualifier just before they both departed the team in November of that year.
In addition to coaching, FrosT was well-known as the Founder and CEO of FlipSid3 Tactics, an organization that earned a reputation by qualifying for nine Counter-Strike majors with its Swedish and CIS rosters. Its alumni include Ivan “Johnta” Shevcov, now coaching FENNEL, and ex-Bleed Esports player Jacob “pyth” Mourujärvi, who contributed to F3’s success as coach and player, respectively.
With FrosT’s addition, Talon Esports are now:

- 🇹🇭 Jittana “JitboyS” Nokngam
- 🇺🇸 Joseph “ban” Seungmin Oh
- 🇸🇬 Lionel “lenne” Lim
