The Japan representative at Masters Reykjavik, Crazy Raccoon, will seek to build on their success from Stage 2 and perhaps represent Japan with another team at the upcoming Masters Berlin.
ZETA DIVISION (previously known as Absolute JUPITER) and Northeption qualified as the two highest performers in Group A of the first week, while Crazy Raccoon and BlackBird Ignis topped Group B. Meanwhile, FENNEL, Feeling, REJECT, and Insomnia qualified from the week 2.
This time around, only five teams were requalified from Stage 2. BlackBird Ignis, Feeling, and Insomnia are the new kids on the block and will attempt to initiate upsets against the better teams. While FAV Gaming did not qualify, three of its former players that participated in Stage 2 will continue to do so as they now power the other teams: Hideki “Fisker” Sasaki (Crazy Raccoon), Daiki “Minty” Kato (Crazy Raccoon), and Jeong “TENSAI” Seung-jin (FENNEL).
