Dear Readers,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the new #VALO2ASIA experience!
We’ve come a long way since 2016, the days of CSGO2ASIA! The process has been lengthy and we’ve still yet to answer the original question of whether we’ll see an Asian team conquer the global stage in a tactical FPS game. One thing is for sure, though; through our efforts, we’ve continually been able to help the SEA and wider APAC region, specifically for those who love first-person shooters.
You may have noticed that our new site is very publication-driven, and that is intentional. While some features of CSGO2ASIA are missing (the obvious one being our match ticker and rankings) there is plenty of time for us to improve. I don’t want to spend time just yet on why we chose to include certain features while foregoing others. But, I promise you, there is a lot of cool stuff in the works.
VALO2ASIA is a fresh experience with a familiar feel – our new publication now draws its attention to the Asian VALORANT scene one year after the game’s official release.
The Launch Invitational 2021
To celebrate the launch of the new site, we are proud to announce the VALO2ASIA Launch Invitational 2021!
Organizing this tournament in just two weeks, while rushing to get this site launched has proven to be a monumental task, and I’d just like to take this moment to thank all the staff and interns as well as production crew hard at work behind the scenes at IMPLS Entertainment.
Our first-ever regional event will feature four SEA teams vying for the $3000 prize pool. Learn more about the event on our dedicated tournament page, and be sure to tune in on Sunday 27th June, 2021 on Twitch, starting at 1 pm (SGT).
