Kim “t3xture” Na-ra returns to a Korean-majority side with his signing to Gen.G.
SOUTH KOREA – Gen.G have announced that they have secured the services of former DWG KIA and Global Esports member Kim “t3xture” Na-ra. The 24-year-old is now the second player to be officially confirmed for the Korean roster, following Kim “Meteor” Tae-O.
Gen.G are currently undergoing significant restructuring for the upcoming season, having released seven team members and retained only Meteor. Starting their league journey with an impressive four consecutive wins, Gen.G encountered challenges from Week 5 onward. As they squared off against some of the league’s elite teams, they suffered five straight losses.

Despite these setbacks, TS and co. clinched a playoff spot through a tiebreaker and ultimately landed a respectable fourth place, trailing only Paper Rex, and their fellow Korean teams, DRX and T1.
t3xture links up with Gen.G after spending the 2023 VCT season with India-based Global Esports, consistently delivering huge individual numbers even as an Initiator, diverging from his main role as a Duelist. The team could not live up to the high expectations set by their notable roster, finishing in eighth place for the League and not securing a single series win in the season’s Last Chance Qualifier.
Nevertheless, his transition to Gen.G sparks new questions regarding the arrangement with Meteor, who also hold the role of primary Duelist.
With this move, Gen.G currently have:
