The former TSM X coach joins Alter Ego Celeste ahead of their VCT Game Changers APAC Elite campaign.
INDONESIA – Danial “RedKoh” Hakim will be taking up the coaching position in Alter Ego Celeste moving forward as the Indonesian side prepares for its most significant tournament yet, VCT Game Changers APAC Elite. The Singaporean coach will be helping the AEC side that has been coachless since the start of the year when Andi “Sleepy” Bangsawan stepped from the position.
“As of today, I am no longer with TSM. Thank you for the amazing journey. I started this with the goal of helping a group of individuals achieve their highest peak in esports,” RedKoh said in a TwitLonger. “We’ve gotten multiple podium finishes in my time here. Thank you so much to the girls, especially for trusting me throughout my time here. I enjoyed every moment there was with them, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead.”

The move marks RedKoh’s second foray into a coaching role, bringing with him a wealth of experience after guiding one of North America’s top Game Changers teams, TSM X, for eight months. With Karnthida “dodonut” Chaisrakeo and co., the most recent VCT Game Changers NA Series 2 was their greatest campaign thus far, finishing as second runner-up.
Prior to transitioning to a coaching role, he took part in a number of significant APAC tournaments as a player during his time in Singapore’s Louvre, including an impressive runner-up placement in the US$15,000 TEC Showdown.
The appointment of RedKoh represents an effort to ensure a smooth-sailing campaign to the VCT Game Changers Championship, the first international Game Changers tournament to be held this November in Berlin, Germany. Coming in as the favorites to snatch a spot in the aforementioned tournaments, the pressure will be high for the Indonesian side that has yet to announce its final member.
Alter Ego Celeste will have about one month to prepare with RedKoh for VCT Game Changers APAC Elite, which will run from October 1-9 and feature Team SMG, Orangutan Female, and the other five top Game Changers sides.
Alter Ego Celeste now have the following team:
- 🇮🇩 July “Eisberg” Kusuma
- 🇮🇩 Odella “enerii” Abraham
- 🇲🇾 Nurul “Ayumiii” Aini
- 🇮🇩 Nabila “nabbsky” Sulthana
- 🇸🇬 Danial “RedKoh” Hakim (Coach)
