FUT Esports secured the final spot for the Red Bull Home Ground Tokyo event by winning the EMEA Qualifier 3-0 over FOKUS.
JAPAN – FUT Esports claimed the last qualifying spot at Red Bull Home Ground Tokyo after defeating FOKUS 3-0 in the last match of the EMEA qualifier (Ascent 14-12, Bind 13-11, Sunset 13-7).
The Turkish team, bolstered by their recent addition Mehmet “cNed” İpek, swept the LAN Qualifier without dropping a map, overcoming Team Heretics, FOKUS, and G2 Gozen. They had already defeated Lewis “YaBoiLewis” Hughes and company in the BO1 round-robin stage but doubled up on their opponents to secure their ticket to Tokyo for the second time in the year.

Furkan “MrFaliN” Yeğen was FUT’s most important player through the qualifier, as the Initiator player averaged a 1.46 VLR rating across six maps to power his team to victory.
Red Bull Home Ground Tokyo is set to take place on November 3-5 and will bring tier-one VALORANT back to the Eastern Capital for the second time in a year following the last Masters event. FUT Esports now has a chance to rebound and seek vengeance against DRX, the team that knocked them out in June.
Teams such as 100 Thieves, DRX, Cloud9, and FNATIC will attend the Tokyo competition, while the home favorites of ZETA DIVISION, FENNEL, and SCARZ will form the Japanese contingent at the event.
