The 23-year-old departs the Korean powerhouse after initially being placed on the transfer list in December last year. 

It marks the end of the memorable Vision Strikers chapter, with stax, BuZz, and MaKo as the only remaining members from that historic roster. 

Goo “Rb” Sang-min and Kim “Zest” Gi-seok are back on the main roster of DRX, rejoining the action after a break since their last appearance at VALORANT Champions LA.

DRX head coach Seon-ho “termi” Pyeon spoke to members of the press and discussed his decision for the team’s starting five. 

Having spent the entirety of 2022 with DRX, MaKo, Rb, Zest, and the coaching staff will continue to carry the blue and white banner in the years to come, following multi-year contract extensions through 2026. 

The Initiator player has returned from his break after being put on a prolonged medical leave since July 2021. 

Vision Strikers’ Kim “Zest” Gi-seok will temporarily depart the team’s active roster due to his “recently arising health issues”.
