The two new signings have accumulated extensive experience in their respective regions, thereby strengthening Aster Army’s position in the domestic SA competition.
INDIA – Aster Army bolstered their ranks ahead of VCL South Asia Split 2 with the signings of Arsyad “aduka” Sazali and Agneya “Marzil” Koushik. Making way for the duo will be youngster Pranav “Kohliii” Kohli, who is moving to the bench. The changes come amidst the region’s shuffle period, which saw numerous small roster moves go down before the second split.
With these changes, Aster Army will be hoping to capitalize on aduka’s exceptional firepower and Marzil’s tier-one experience to further their prospects in the domestic competition. In their debut campaign, Aster Army secured an impressive fourth place in VCL South Asia Split 1 and were the only team from the open qualifier to reach the playoff stage.

aduka joins Aster Army on a free transfer after parting ways with Todak on Wednesday, concluding his second tenure with the team that took the First Strike MY/SG trophy home in 2020.

As for Marzil, the 25-year-old was last seen participating in VCL South Asia Split 1 while representing the now-defunct Lethal Esports. A veteran of the Indian scene, Marzil’s extensive resumé includes entries such as Velocity Gaming in VALORANT, as well as Entity Gaming, OpTic Gaming, Signify, and BL4ZE Esports in Valve’s first-person shooter, with more than 20 significant offline appearances in the record.
