Providing the bulk of the new RRQ Kaguya roster is the former Alter Ego Celeste quartet

With the conclusion of VCT Game Changers APAC Open 4, the first three slots for VCT Game Changers APAC’s final event of the year (Elite) have been officially decided. 

Alter Ego Celeste picked up their first title of the year after taking down X10 CRIT Female in the title decider of VCT Game Changers APAC Open 1.

Alter Ego Celeste’s in-game leader Ryona “Tarathiel” Tan has announced that she is taking a step back from the team and retiring from VALORANT. 

Alter Ego Celeste needed only a little over two hours to defeat Mad Army and get their hands on their VCT Game Changers SEA: FSL Elite crown, ending their 2021 campaign on a high note by dominating the scene.

The Indonesian-Malaysian team capped off their undefeated run from the inaugural edition of the Open competition with a dominant 3-0 win over Galaxy Racer Female in the grand final (Icebox 13-10, Split 13-7, Breeze 13-3). 

We sat down with Alter Ego Celestè’s in-game leader to learn more about the team, particularly their opinion about the team’s success so far, which is frequently compared to Cloud9 White’s dominance in North America.

The Indonesian team are the back-to-back four time champion after a 3-2 win over Oasis Gaming Aqua.
