The VALORANT Champions playoffs have claimed its victims. Team Secret and Cloud9 were all sent home in the quarter-finals. They were knocked out by Acend and Team Liquid, respectively, who will move on to the semi-finals. 

Cloud9 has announced the composition of its new Cloud9 Academy roster built around coach Gaël “vexel” Attal and former C9 Blue player Michael “poiz” Possis.

Team Secret and X10 CRIT have booked spots in VALORANT Champions playoffs following victory over Team Vikings and Envy, respectively, on the last day of the group stage.

After six days packed full of VALORANT action, VALORANT Champions is approaching its last elimination day, during which we will learn the final eight playoff teams. Meanwhile, five teams have already qualified for the quarter-finals, with the last three to be determined today.

Cloud9 beat FULL SENSE 2-0 in Group D’s lower bracket after losing in the opening round to Fnatic, and have now survived the elimination match.

The Filipino powerhouse have sent Crazy Raccoon packing from VALORANT Champions 2021 following a dominant 2-0 victory in Group C’s elimination match. 

ZETA DIVISION have brought Northeption’s duo of Tenta “TENNN” Asai and Shota “SugarZ3ro” Watanabe to the lineup, and transfer deal of REJECT’s Yuma “Dep” Hashimoto with Ryumon “Reita” Oshiro. Meanwhile, Ryo “barce” Takebayashi will move to ZETA’s streamer division, while Miyamoto “makiba” Akastuki will be inactive for the 2022 season. 

All eyes are on VALORANT Champions 2021, as we head towards the final chance for 16 of the world’s best teams to make a bold statement this year. Make sure that you don’t miss out on all the actions starting December 1-12. 

The Bleed eSports Christmas Showdown will take place on December 17-19th. An SGD15,000 prize pool will be distributed among teams from the MY/SG and India region. 

Brazil’s Vivo Keyd have been sanctioned for exploiting a well-known Cypher bug at VALORANT Champions 2021, therefore forfeiting their upset victory on Breeze and handing Acend the upper bracket spot
