Enigma Gaming have announced the appointment of Lukas “yb” Gröning as their coach, the organization announced on Twitter. The 30-year-old’s move to Enigma Gaming marks his first foray into VALORANT, bringing an end to an approximately nine-year career as a player and coach in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. 

The Bleed eSports Christmas Showdown will take place on December 17-19th. An SGD15,000 prize pool will be distributed among teams from the MY/SG and India region. 

After a long day of battle, another two teams are headed home from the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier. BOOM Esports were sent home by DWG KIA, while F4Q ejected Global Esports. Coming into the event with a win over FENNEL and DWG KIA in the round of ten, BOOM and Global struggled to succeed in their following matches. 

The former Cloud9 player joins Global Esports as a coach prior to the start of their VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier campaign.

Global Esports, the victor of VALORANT Conquerors Championship and India’s sole representative in the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier, will bootcamp in Thailand prior to the LCQ, the owner of the organization, Rushindra “Salbatic” Sinha, revealed on September 23. 

The VCC Champions is taking applications for the coach or analyst role in the team.

Velocity Gaming has signed Tejas “rite2ace” Sawant to a one-year contract extension that will see his existing deal gain an additional year, keeping him under contract with the organization at least until September 2022. 

Global Esports will represent South Asia in the upcoming VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier, which will take place between October 13th and 17th. The Indian side defeated their counterparts, Velocity Gaming, in a thrilling series that went the distance, concluding in a 3-2 victory for Global Esports.

VALORANT Conquerors Championship (VCC) will see teams from South Asian nations participate in sub-regional qualifications for a prize pool of US$33,000. Velocity Gaming, Global Esports, and Salt Esports are among the eight teams that earned main event spots after fighting through their respective regional open qualifier. 

While only Southeast Asia and a small portion of East Asia can currently qualify for the VALORANT Champions, Riot Games and NODWIN Gaming have collaborated to provide a route for teams in South Asia to qualify for the VALORANT Champions at the end of the year with VALORANT Conquerors Championship (VCC).
