The final set of matches in the group stage concluded with ZETA DIVISION beating Ninjas in Pyjamas to clinch a berth in the quarter-finals. Meanwhile, XERXIA Esports are out of the race with the loss to OpTic Gaming in the decider match. 

ZETA DIVISION have announced the expansion of their VALORANT division with an academy roster, spearheaded by former NORTHEPTION coach Kakeru “Vorz” Ikarashi, who will focus on developing and scouting the scene’s emerging talents.

ZETA DIVISION have brought Northeption’s duo of Tenta “TENNN” Asai and Shota “SugarZ3ro” Watanabe to the lineup, and transfer deal of REJECT’s Yuma “Dep” Hashimoto with Ryumon “Reita” Oshiro. Meanwhile, Ryo “barce” Takebayashi will move to ZETA’s streamer division, while Miyamoto “makiba” Akastuki will be inactive for the 2022 season. 

ZETA DIVISION have decided to pull out of the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier, the Japanese organization has announced.
